Best Water Pitchers

Here at the Strategist, we like to think of ourselves as crazy (in the good way) about the stuff we buy (like pillows), but as much as we’d like to, we can’t tryeverything. Which is why we have People’s Choice, in which we find the best-reviewed (that’s four-to-five-star reviews and lots of ‘em) products and single out the most convincing. And though we’ve written about the best water bottles, water glasses, and even alkaline water machines on Amazon before, here, we’re going deep on the best water pitchers on Amazon, according to the people. (Note that reviews have been edited for length and clarity.)

1. Circleware Windowpane Glass 8 Cup Water Pitcher With Handle

This is a great little pitcher! So cute and it shows off colorful drinks so nicely. Nice and sturdy with good, quality glass. The handle doesn’t slip. Good pour with only the very slightest drip at the end … Really nice pitcher at a great price.”

2. Luminarc Quadro 1.7-Liter Pitcher

LOVE these pitchers and have several for various beverages. Very streamlined design and [they] look and fit great in my fridge and [on a] buffet when entertaining. Heavy and study glass, holds two quarts perfectly. I like the lid’s versatility: open for pouring straight, or if you have ice cubes or fruit, turn it and it will ‘strain’ the liquid … Great year-round use, from outdoor get-togethers to holiday functions.

3. Bormioli Rocco Hermetic Seal Glass Pitcher With Lid and Spout, 68 Ounce

I buy raw milk in half-gallon Mason jars and was looking for a glass pitcher that was airtight, with a spout and had a wide enough neck to be able to fit my hand in to clean. This is the perfect jug! I can’t express enough how happy I am with this purchase. The glass is thick and sturdy, the lid is airtight with a removable rubber ring for cleaning, and it fits perfect in my fridge. Exactly what I was looking for.

4. Hiware 68 Ounces Glass Pitcher With Lid and Spout

A glass pitcher that can take boiling water! I have been searching for several years to replace a similar pitcher I accidentally dropped on the floor and smashed. This is a nice size for making hot tea in the morning for the entire family, and I can serve it right from the pitcher. I also use it to brew hot tea to eventually make into iced tea. I let the tea cool to room temperature and then place it in the refrigerator. The top fits snugly, but not so tight that it is a battle to get it off. The handle, which looks like it is too thin, is PERFECT for your hand, and it holds the weight of the pitcher full with liquid. I have been using this every day since it arrived and I might just buy another as a backup … If this ever cracked, I’d glue it and use it to grow herbs on the patio or something. I am simply THRILLED with this product.
